At The Steam Station, students are the conductors in training, guiding their own path through a diverse array of STEAM modules. With over 30 modules available, each month presents a fresh opportunity for students to select courses aligned with their interests and aspirations.

As conductors, students must complete all assignments and projects within their chosen modules to earn a badge, marking their achievements and skills. But that’s not all – students also earn Train Tickets as they complete certain tasks and advance through ranks. These tickets serve as valuable currency within The Steam Station, allowing students to trade them in at our Steam Station Store for a variety of exciting prizes and rewards.

Catering to ages 10-16, The Steam Station offers a flexible learning experience, allowing students to take breaks as needed and resume their journey when ready. With modules rotating monthly, there’s always a new adventure to embark upon, providing insights into different industries and career pathways.

Graduation as a Steam Station conductor is a significant milestone, achieved by completing 24 modules. A celebratory pinning ceremony honors this achievement, and graduates have the option to further specialize in semester-long courses in coding, robotics, or 3D printing.

But the journey doesn’t stop there. Completion of the Virtual Academy and specialized courses opens doors to internships with our industry partners, where students can apply their skills in real-world settings. For high school juniors, the opportunity to work on summer projects at partner universities awaits, providing invaluable experience and growth opportunities.
